(She didn't want to brag, so Mom is posting. Not all Scous make the effort of time to give to others.)

Her heart is not just on cookies.

She is working on 50 blankets for the local children cancer hospital. She chose this project after a 14yr friend left this life, after a 3.5yr battle of cancer.

She said I can help but she won't count my hours towards her 50 required hours. Much of the fabric she has been given are odd sizes. She is determined not to have waste. She asked at church if we have a woman willing to help her piece together a blanket top. 18 done.
I tried a tie blanket, it did not go so well, so she irons, ties, sews and I get to measure and cut.

We love living in a community that supports our youth!
