Hey yall! My current goal is to have 50 Love Quilts donated by December 12th to take to our hospice patients for Christmas!
Quilt tops or whole quilts can be mailed to:
Hospice Love Quilts
3531 Taylor Bay Rd
Nahunta, GA 31553.

Quilt guidelines:

Size: approximately 45x60 in. Throw/lap quilt.

Designs: Feel free to be as creative or as simple as you like. There are no
particular designs you need to follow; however, themed quilts are fun. Popular themes include gardening, farming and hunting, as well as patriotic-themed quilts for our veterans. Patchwork and pattern quilts are also appreciated.

Labels or tags: This is at your discretion, although I know patients and their families love to know where this beautiful gift has come from. If desired, a tag may be placed on a back corner of the quilt to state who has made the quilt. Otherwise, I will attach an anonymous “From: Love Quilts” tag.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of quilts I can donate? Not at all! My goal is to offer a quilt to every patient that comes on to hospice services.

*** New page under construction ***

I’m a Registered Nurse with a hospice group here in Georgia and I love to quilt and crochet! I would love to make quilts for every hospice patient but I’m not able time wise or supply wise to do that on my own. That’s why I’ve created this page. The hospice organization I work for covers EVERY COUNTY IN GEORGIA! That’s gonna be a lot of quilts.

Here’s the plan:
Accepting whole finished quilts lap throw size 45 x 60in approximately, already pieces quilt tops same size range, crochet/knitted finished blankets same size range and fabrics any size including scraps larger than 2x2 in squares, batting, and thread. DO NOT SEND CASH DONATIONS. I’m not set up for that yet. I will email a certificate of donation for your tax credit purposes.

I am only set up for distribution and to complete already started quilts, and to make quilts with gifted fabrics.

Please email me with the button above for mailing or drop off information!
