One more reason regular controlled burns are important. There are so many little details about the ecosystems in the Southeast and how they evolved with fire.

Thanks to the fire teams for not just fighting the fire and saving the day, but for also doing such great education for us too! 🌲❤️

The sigh of relief we felt over the past two days was wonderful. But, it's not over yet. This is a marathon for sure.

There will never be enough thank yous for the fire teams. We are grateful for their skills, expertise, persistence, and for taking the time to educate like this too! ❤️🌲
