Our friends at Nacogdoches Junior Forum hosted a diaper and wipe drive to help stock the shelves in the Rainbow Room. Our shelves are filled and our hearts are so full at their generosity. Thank you!!!

The month of March we did a hygiene drive to increase our inventory of shampoos, soaps, razors and more items used on a regular basis from the Rainbow Room. Our friends at Charles Pool Real Estate and Community Title stepped up to the challenge and helped us meet those needs. Thank you so much!!

It's December but we continue with our thankful thoughts for our workers who tirelessly work in our community.
This week we highlight Jennifer Claude.
Jennifer has been with Texas Department of Family & Protective Services for 25 years and is a Child Protective Investigations Program Director III.

Here are some fun facts we learned about Jennifer:

Q: What do you love most about your job?
A: Jennifer loves getting to be a part of change for families and seeing her staff develop and move up into leadership.

Q: Do you have a career highlight or most memorable moment?
A: Working with a teen who thought she could never go to college or reach for more than the lifestyle she grew up in. Helping her start thinking about what SHE wanted for her future and giving her permission to pursue that dream. Years later seeing that she was able to break that cycle for her family.

Q:Do you have pets?
A: 2 dogs, 6 chickens, about 40 show rabbits, show goat and a show heifer. All have names and all are spoiled rotten!🐐🐂🐥🐇
