Please pray for Fr. George’s dad and his family.

Let us pray for Fr. George's dad, George Elliott III, and his family as he is currently in the hospital. Our good pastor, Fr. George, spends his days and nights serving at the altars of our Lord across Catholic Nacogdoches, bringing us Jesus and His sacraments. Please pray for him and his family now as he spends this time with his own father in the final hours of this life. Heavenly Father, we lift up our prayers to you.

George, pasa sus días y noches sirviendo en los altares de nuestro Señor, trayendo a Jesús y sus sacramentos. Howdy there! The SFA Knights of Columbus are having a hoedown on December 3rd! 50 dollars of that good old green American bill will be given to the best dress Ranchero or Cowgirl 🤠. A photo booth will also be there too along with some tasty Burgers! (It’s also highly recommended to bring a dance partner and your best cowboy outfit from home!).

On Thursday October 7th 2021 the Sfa Knights of Columbus came together and smoked 21 pork butts for fundraising money to donate to the Heartbeat Pregnancy Center here in Nacogdoches, Texas!!! We had some former Knights of the council come back to show the younger guys how to smoke some pork butts! We also celebrated the night by live-streaming a rosary in honor of the feast day of our Lady of the Holy Rosary! We couldn’t have done it without Mary watching over us! The knights also provided transportation to anyone that was in need of transportation during the 40 hours of adoration that was happening from Thursday October 7th till Saturday October 9th at St. Mary’s. On Friday October 9th of the pork butt sale we had sold out within 2 hours!!! It was incredible that lots of people from the community came out and supported for the pork butt fundraiser! We would like to thank Sarced Heart knights council for letting us use their smoker, the Lufkin knights council for providing us a great contact for the pork butts, and for all that donated or bought pork butts from us!! In the end we raised over $800 in sales and will be providing a big check to the Heartbeat Pregnancy Center in hopes that no family is worried about Financial issues!
