✨Today’s Rotary meeting featured an inspiring lineup of speakers! ✨

We welcomed Cassie Tieman, the 2026 Boys & Girls Clubs of Deep East Texas Youth of the Year, who shared exciting opportunities available to local teens this summer through the Piney Woods Professionals Program and upcoming leadership initiatives.

Our program was presented by Dr. Lauren Ivy Sieja, Dr. Catie Munguia, and Dr. James Morris of the Hunger Free Nac Sin Hambre Coalition. They shared powerful insights on food insecurity in Nacogdoches County and the collaborative efforts underway to ensure every family has access to nutritious food.

This week at Fredonia Rotary, we were honored to induct returning Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow John Branch, Associate Vice President for Facilities Services and Campus Operations and Chair of the Campus Master Plan Steering Committee at SFA. We are excited to welcome John back to the club!

Today’s program was presented by Kevin Bradford, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Central East Texas. Kevin shared the incredible growth and impact of Goodwill under his leadership, including expansion into multiple East Texas communities, employment opportunities for more than 300 individuals, and partnerships that help support local causes throughout the region.

Thank you to Kevin for an inspiring presentation and for the meaningful work Goodwill continues to do across Central East Texas!

This Memorial Day, the Fredonia Rotary Club pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice reminds us of the true meaning of courage, freedom, and community. As we gather with family and friends this weekend, let us take a moment to reflect with gratitude on those who made those moments possible.

We also extend our appreciation to all veterans and active-duty military members for their continued service and dedication.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Today’s Fredonia Rotary meeting was brought to us by the Nacogdoches Law Enforcement Foundation. We were honored to hear about the incredible work being done to support and equip first responders throughout Nacogdoches County through advanced training, community outreach, and life-saving tactical emergency casualty care programs.

We also had the honor of inducting our newest Rotarian, Dakota Hickman! Please join us in welcoming Dakota to the Fredonia Rotary family as we continue living out “Service Above Self.” 💙💛
