This Tuesday we heard from Catie Munguia, Executive Director of Better Together. Where she informed us of all the wonderful things that Better Together has done throughout our community. We are very thankful for your time you took to come speak to us!!

Our club got a surprise guest on Tuesday as well!! Demetress Harrell, from the Angelina Rotary Club, visited our Tuesday meeting and awarded us a check for our past district conference contributions. Thank you for coming to see us Ms. Harrell!! We are filled with gratitude!

✨Tuesday Guest Spotlight✨

Kelly Floyd and her team at Nac Pet Rescue shared with us the efforts and procedures it requires to run a nonprofit pet rescue. Kelly gave us insight on how we as a club/community can help her and her furry friends, and that is by fostering!! Nac Pet Rescue is always looking for foster homes to love on the puppies before they find a forever home.

It is so important to us to hear the impact Nac Pet Rescue is making within our town. Since partnering up with the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter, they have helped them by increasing the rate at which dogs are able to find homes. By doing so, it allows more room available in our shelters!

Thank you Kelly and team at Nac Pet Rescue. We applaud you for your dedication and the steps you take to strengthen our community and town!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Get ready for a morning of football, family fun and SFA pride!

Join us for Meet the Jacks Family Fan Fest presented by the Fredonia Rotary on Saturday, August 15, from 9:00–11:00 a.m. at Homer Bryce Stadium. Fans of all ages will have the opportunity to meet the Jacks, interact with student-athletes and celebrate SFA Football with the East Texas community.

WHAT TO EXPECT
From 9:00–10:30 a.m., fans can enjoy activities throughout the stadium, including:
A route-running station with SFA Football student-athletes
Two inflatables for younger Jacks
A water ball-toss challenge
Photos with the Southland Commissioner’s Cup and SFA Football Conference Championship trophy
Opportunities to meet and interact with members of the team
The morning will conclude with a structured autograph session beginning at 10:30 a.m.

PARKING AND ENTRANCE
Guests should park in the Steen Parking Lot.
Enter the Steen Parking Lot from East College Street
The event entrance will be through the stadium gate located off the Steen Parking Lot
Please review the parking map before arriving, as construction will affect access around the area
