I am excited to announce our trip to Peru this upcoming winter break. You do NOT have to be any form of a pre-health major or even have to be from the university. If this is something you are seriously interested in comment, DM, or email us at [email protected] for more details!!!

Thank you for coming to our last semester meeting, and we look forward to next year!

Volunteers Around the World Medical Outreach Chapter

Volunteers Around the World is a humanitarian group that focuses on bettering the quality of life in impoverished locations. Students that choose to participate in one of the medical outreach trips will learn about rural medicine, shadow doctors, and medical logistics all while immersed in a unique culture. Additionally, students will lead a Health Education Day at one of the local schools in the host country.

We strongly encourage people of all different majors to apply. Applications are open to all students interested in global health development, regardless of major or university. During the application process, applicants will also be reviewed and considered for leadership positions and eligibility to attend the Medical Outreach Trip. Students are not required to attend the Medical Outreach trips to join VAW SFASU, and are encouraged to still join VAW SFASU. The only criteria is that students are willing to learn and collaborate, and above all, have a passion for making global health a possibility for all.
