Our goals have not changed! Here is a clip from December 2019 mentioning so many things mentioned that we have already gotten done!
In the week before COVID and a month during summer we have been able to get:
- 20 Trees planted
- 4,000 gallons of trash and debris cleaned up
- Partner with national, state level and local organizations and businesses on our movement
- Plan for the upcoming Fall Semester!!! Here is what we have planned for that!

FALL 2020 GOALS:
- New & Sustained Gravel Pathways
- Landscaping with Flowers
- More Grass Areas
- New refurbished bend areas
- Cleaned Decking & Bridges
- Plant Veins along the bridge side
- Lighting up the center island at night with solar power
- LOTS LOTS MORE!

We are only listing the things we are ready to implement during the FIRST MONTH! There is much more to come as we continue to work during the summer and with our care of the area inside and outside the pond alongside the natural life that we may support spurring more so in the area. Axe ‘em Jacks!

Due to the school closure for the rest of the Spring Semester CALAP will be suspending our efforts on ground as it is unsafe for our volunteers and team. We will continue to monitor the ground to make sure that all life is living at its best and will take immediate action if anything is to be considered severe. We do have students able to respond in short notice for such things.
The Executive team will continue to plan, grow and work the best as we can during this time so that when the time comes off then next academic year that we can be just where we left off and better!
As President, I want to thank everyone who worked with us during this semester. We did amazing things and extreme strides as a first semester organization. We raised a lot of money and we got to meet a lot of people with big hearts but like I said, we will continue to work very hard during this time. We cleaned up 4,000 gallons of trash and debris in the short time we had this semester. We will never be finished with our work for the school and for the animals we love. - Wester Couch

As we walk through the area where The Conservation of Aquatic Life and The Ag Pond (CALAP) organization works we are faced in the video with the tasks at hand on the scene along with our workers zooming by planting new vegetation to the area. I hope y'all enjoy our fun little video as there is more to come once we touch ground beginning February 6th!
