🎃🏗️ PUMPKIN STEM CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! 🧡🚀
Our Boys & Girls Clubs of Deep East Texas – Woodville ACE 1st–3rd grade students turned candy pumpkins and toothpicks into an exciting hands-on STEM engineering challenge! 🎃🔬
The mission? Build the TALLEST tower possible using only candy pumpkins and toothpicks! 🏗️🏆
Our little engineers put their creativity, imagination, and problem-solving skills to the test as they worked to build towers that were not only tall but strong enough to stand on their own! 💪
Through this fun fall-themed STEM activity, our students practiced:
🎃 Engineering & Design – Planning and building their own structures!
🧠 Critical Thinking – Figuring out how to make their towers taller and stronger!
🤝 Teamwork & Communication – Sharing ideas and working together!
📏 Math & Measurement – Exploring height, balance, and stability!
🌟 Perseverance – Learning that when a tower falls, you can always rebuild and try again!
The best part was watching our students think outside the box, overcome challenges, and get excited about their creations! ❤️👏
At Woodville ACE, we believe learning doesn’t have to happen behind a desk! Sometimes all it takes is a few candy pumpkins, some toothpicks, and BIG imaginations to create an unforgettable learning experience! 🎃✨
🧡 Little pumpkins, BIG ideas, and FUTURE ENGINEERS in the making! 🏗️🚀
