Hello Upper Valley Little League families and community members,

Sportsman’s Days is coming up September 11 & 12 and Upper Valley Little League will once again be running the Corn Dog Booth! 🌭⚾️

This fundraiser is an important opportunity for our league, and we need the help of our families and community to keep the booth staffed throughout the weekend.

This year, we’ve made a change to our volunteer schedule!

Instead of asking volunteers to commit to long shifts, we’ve created shorter volunteer time slots so you can lend a hand while still having plenty of time to enjoy Sportsman’s Days with your family and friends.

That means we’re asking for more hands, but with a smaller time commitment from each volunteer. Even one shift makes a big difference!

And if you’d like to help for longer, you are absolutely welcome to sign up for more than one time slot. Feel free to choose as many back-to-back or separate shifts as you’d like.

As another baseball season comes to a close, it’s time to give our Upper Valley Little League fields a little TLC and prepare them for the off-season — and we could use our community’s help!

We’ll be tackling general yardwork, field cleanup and end-of-season projects to get our ballpark ready for winter.

The more hands we have, the easier — and faster — the work will be!

Players, parents, coaches, grandparents, board members and community members are all welcome. Whether you can stay for the entire morning or just lend a hand for a little while, every bit of help makes a difference.

Bring your work gloves, your family, and your team spirit, and help us take care of the fields that gave our players a place to play all season long.

Many hands make light work — we hope to see you there!

As we begin planning for another exciting Little League season, we’re looking for community members who want to make a difference for the kids of Upper Valley.

Whether you’ve been involved for years or you’re simply curious about how our league operates, we’d love to invite you to one of our upcoming Board Meetings!

Each October, Upper Valley Little League elects members to our Board of Directors. Positions include:

• President
• Vice President
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Players Agent
• Concessions Manager
• Field Maintenance & Operations
• Equipment Manager
• Director of League Development & Fundraising
• Umpire in Chief
• League Safety Officer

While some positions are already filled, several will be available for the upcoming season. If you’ve ever considered serving on the board, we’d love to answer your questions and help you learn what each role involves.

Not interested in a board position? That’s okay!

We’re always looking for volunteers who can help with concessions, fundraising, field projects, special events, coaching support, or even just lending a hand whenever they’re available. Every contribution—big or small—helps create a better experience for our players and families.

Our league is built by volunteers, and we truly couldn’t do it without our incredible community.

Tough loss tonight to Selah, but these boys never stopped competing. ❤️⚾💙

So proud of the heart, hustle, and sportsmanship our 10U All-Stars showed every inning. This tournament may not have ended the way we hoped, but the growth, friendships, and memories made along the way are something to be proud of.

Thank you to our players, coaches, families, and everyone who cheered us on!

Yesterday was a tough one against one of the strongest teams in our district. Richland National has consistently been one of the toughest opponents year after year, and while the scoreboard wasn’t what we hoped for, our players represented Upper Valley Little League with sportsmanship, perseverance, and heart. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort they gave.

We know every challenge is an opportunity to learn, grow, and come back even stronger. So, now it’s time to turn the page, play hard, support your teammates, hustle every inning, and leave everything you have on the field!

Join us Monday at 4:00 PM in Richland as our 10U All-Stars take on Selah. Let’s fill the stands and cheer these kids on every step of the way!

Tonight, our Upper Valley Juniors take the field against Pasco, and we couldn’t be prouder! ⚾️

No matter the outcome, these athletes have shown determination, sportsmanship, and heart all season long. Thank you to our coaches, families, and fans who continue to support these young players every step of the way.

Good luck tonight, boys—play hard, have fun, and represent Upper Valley with pride! 💙❤️
