We are delighted to celebrate two wonderful recognitions for Marek Czarnecki, a Sacred Art instructor at the St. Edmund's Sacred Art Institute on Enders Island!

Marek is featured in Lori Erickson’s upcoming book, Travels with the Muse, releasing October 13, 2026. The book is a journey into the creative life, told through travels to places where art and spirit meet.

Also, in the Summer 2026 edition of The Catholic Transcript, Shelley Wolf highlighted Marek’s work as an iconographer. We are grateful to see Marek’s dedication to sacred art and the preservation of beauty recognized in these two publications.

Today, on this special feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, take some time to pray a rosary along our Rosary Walk. Overlooking a wide horizon of waters, the Seaside Chapel and Rosary Walk provide beautiful places for prayer amid the peaceful sounds of the waves.

The E. William and France Kenyon Foundation donated the magnificent statue of Our Lady of Fatima and the Rosary Walk that begins at the Seaside Chapel. Take a moment to reflect and pray this powerful devotion on serene Enders Island.

When you lose someone you love to an accidental drug overdose, the grief that follows can be especially challenging and painful. Loss to Addiction is a free monthly offering with Linda Whelan on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. on Zoom.

Using the touchstones from Understanding Your Grief and the principles in the guide book Understanding Your Grief after a Drug-Overdose both by Dr. Alan Wolfelt, we will explore the many factors surrounding the loss of a loved one from addiction as we support each other.
