There are frightful and delightful creatures waiting for you on the trails this weekend! Our annual Spooky Nature Trail will be open 5 pm-8 pm this Friday and Saturday, 10/23 & 10/24. Come dressed for a hauntingly good time walking the jack-o-lantern lit trails, playing games, making crafts, meeting animals, and more! 🎃 Tickets at dpnc.org (timed entry with limited spots each half hour; get your tickets now to get your preferred date and entry time!)

They're back!

We have a new shipment of Inciardi mini prints loaded into the machine and ready for purchase. We now have the crunchy leaf and monarch butterfly prints, in addition to the new Red-tailed Hawk. Come by and purchase tokens at the front desk to get your very own print!

Hours:
Sunday–Friday: 10 am–4 pm
Saturday: 9 am–4 pm

Please note that the machine is inside the museum and admission is required in order to access it.

When you’ve been practicing your brave face all month and it finally pays off!

Our Spooky Nature Trail opens in just 9 days. Wander through the woods lined with glowing jack-o’-lanterns, meet costumed creatures who will do their very best to give you a (friendly) fright, then stick around for on-theme crafts, games, and a chance to meet our resident animals.

Bring your best costume and your bravest face!

Last night, the United Way held its annual United for Gemma Benefit Gala and our very own Koralee Lawrence was honored with receiving the Sara Chaney Heart of the Community Award which pays tribute to extraordinary dedication and hands-on work, honoring Sara’s legacy of building the operational capacity of the program.

We are so proud of Koralee and all that she has done for the Giving Garden, for the relationship she has grown and strengthened with United Way, and for the community of volunteers she boldly leads every year!
