I was saddened by an article written by Joseph Webber of WPDE that criticized the Carolina Forest area for having lots of trash after a couple (Christopher and Jill Decaro) stated that they complained to multiple people (county council, palmetto pride) about the trash along Carolina Forest roads. The reporter didn't take the time to check out the situation and to see that volunteers from Beautify Carolina pick trash every month in the area. We have one of the cleanest neighborhoods in the county. Not sure where they saw all this trash but they are welcome to join us and help pick trash on a regular basis. I want to thank all of our volunteers who pick- rain, snow, heat and don't ask anything in return. They are the true heros of Carolina Forest and are truly appreciated. Next time, I suggest the reporter does a little research before he writes an article that is so negative and untrue. Betsy Fay
