Beautify Carolina Forest volunteers are seeking your help to continue our litter pickups once a month. We currently cover 27 miles of road and last year, we collected over 1400 bags of trash. We pick on the second Friday, Saturday, Sunday of each month. You can pick any day during that week and the county will remove all the bags on Monday. We will give you all the supplies including pickers, bags, vests and gloves. Several of our pickers have aged out due to health issues. It usually takes 1-2 hours to do any area especially if you have 2 people.
The areas available are:
Revolutionary way to library entrance
RIver Oaks from White River Drive to railroad tracks
Carolina Forest Blvd from Gateway to Covington Lake entrance( needs 1 person)
Carolina Forest Blvd from Farmers' Rest to River Oaks Drive

January 10-12th
February 14-16th
March 14-16th
April 11-13th
May 9-11th
June 13-15th
July 11-13th
August 8-10th
September 12-14th
October 10-12th
November 14-16th
December 12-14th

We meet on the Saturday of these dates at the Park and Recreation Parking lot at 8 am to give out supplies and assignments for anyone that would like to help us pick up trash and keep Carolina Forest Beautify. Volunteers with a regular area to pick, can pick any time during the week before and including those dates. Litter is picked up by county on Monday morning. Thank you for your support.

Today, as I drove to my litter area to pick, I had so much gratitude as I saw volunteer after volunteer picking litter along our Carolina Forest Streets. They all have taken up the task of keeping our streets clean of trash by taking a few hours a month to pick litter. Since January 1st, we have removed over 1300 bags of trash from 27 miles of roads in Carolina Forest. That is quite the achievement and I'm so proud to be the president of this great group of people. Thank you again for caring about your neighborhoods and volunteering for this great cause.
