GOD ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS! ❤️
The 35 children at KIVA House of Hope in Lusaka, Zambia, now have a place to stay—and a generous supporter has provided the financing to build them a permanent home on land they already own!
What an incredible answer to prayer!
Now we need to help provide the water. A well must be dug before construction of their new home can begin. We have already raised half of what is needed, but $1,850 is still needed.

Saturday, Sept 19 - A sad farewell to the reservation. The Native American art pictured is from a store in Rapid City. The Prairie Edge features a full line of Native American crafts, fine art, botanicals, books and so much more. Everything there is authentic NA art and the store is a "must visit" place at the end of every visit to SD.

Friday, Sept 18 - A few more pics from Friday. The couple in this picture are Manny and Renee. They teach the children the Lakota language. When the team is rested we'll try to get some of the videos posted.

Sunday, Sept 20 - The team will be making the journey home today. Please pray for safe travels for their plane ride and after that the long drive back to VA!

Friday, Sept 18 - Karen reports the Festival was amazing! Unfortunately their cell service was spotty so they were unable to send the pics and videos except this one. We can't wait to see the rest of the pics!

Wednesday, Sept 16 - Spent the day processing veggies again and baked 4 pans of pumpkin bars. We are also preparing the gym for the Harvest Festival. Meanwhile Ken is busy helping maintain the tiller and lawn mowers; and weather-proofing the outside of the buildings.

Tuesday, Sept 15 - A time for work and a time for play! The team is busy as bees! All of the staff and interns are so happy the team is there. The gals cut veggies, iced cakes and decorated the gym.

Monday, Sept 14 - Team Leader Karen reports, "Lots happening today in preparation for the Harvest Festival! Played with kids. Best news ever! 2 young workers asked me to do a Bible study with them tomorrow. They are just coming to the Lord! "
