After Baldy town we hiked to Miranda where we practiced 50 caliber black powder rifle shooting and tomahawk throwing. Then we hiked to Baldy Skyline in the rain for the night. The next day we then hiked to Head of dean where we had a great experience with the Forestry rangers and we participated as a crew in COPE programs and had a great time. After that program we hiked to Santa clause and learned how to reload ammo and shot shotguns. After shot gun shooting we hiked up to Dean Skyline Camp for the night. And OMG what a view

From 38 ft to 14114 in a single day! Mom I’m dizzy! Great trip to the top of Pikes Peak had a brief hail storm and Nicks hair protected us all! Not sure how this happened but some of these Scouts already smell! 🤣... and it’s the first 12 hours... OMG
