Members will be attending the SCSAFC Memorial Service April 2nd at the SCFA honoring those we lost in the fire service during 2013.

Members will be attending Legislative Day in Columbia on 26th to meet with our law makers. Hope to convince them to support bills aiding the Fire-Rescue Service.

John Griffin, a narcotics officer for the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety will be conducting m**h awareness training to the Myrtle Beach Fire Department personnel beginning Friday, March 7th and for the following two Fridays. John met today with Conway PD and FD to arrange for training of their personnel. This important training will aid in the recognition of m**h production and the dangers involved with handling m**h production chemicals. It may save firefighters' lives.
