We’ll be getting together this afternoon for our June 18 Kiwanis meeting, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone.

Today’s guest speaker is John Deitle, who will be sharing information about hurricane preparedness and ways our community can better prepare for storm season here in Myrtle Beach. Living along the coast means staying informed matters, and this should be a really valuable conversation.

Join us today at 12:00 PM at Logan’s Roadhouse, 1136 Oak Forest Ln, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

There’s always room at the table for anyone who wants to stay connected and involved in the community.

There’s something really special about watching a child get excited over a book they get to keep.

That’s a big reason why our Book Vending Machine project means so much to us. Students earn books through their effort, and that experience can help build a lasting connection to reading. There’s something meaningful about a child getting to bring home a book that’s truly their own.

We’re proud to keep supporting literacy and encouraging young readers here in Myrtle Beach.

Our next Kiwanis meeting is coming up on Thursday, June 18, and we’re looking forward to another good conversation around the table.

We’ll also be hearing from John Deitle, who will be speaking about hurricane preparedness and the importance of being ready before storm season ramps up here along the coast. It’s always helpful to hear practical local insight, especially this time of year in Myrtle Beach.

Join us at 12:00 PM at Logan’s Roadhouse, 1136 Oak Forest Ln, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Come spend your lunch hour with us and bring someone along who may enjoy the conversation too.

Making a difference usually starts in a pretty simple way. Someone decides to show up and help where they can.

That’s what community service has always been about for us. Every bit of support helps move our work forward for kids in Myrtle Beach, and there’s always value in people who are willing to get involved and be part of something meaningful.

Come alongside us as we continue supporting kids and families in our area.

Some of the most meaningful moments happen when we simply get to spend time together outside of the usual meeting setting.

Our social night at Carolina Ale House gave everyone a chance to slow down and spend time with people who genuinely care about this community. That connection matters, and it’s a big part of what keeps this club feeling welcoming and genuine.

We’re grateful for evenings like this and the people who continue showing up to support kids in Myrtle Beach.

We hope you’ll stay connected to the impact being made throughout our community.

We’re looking forward to another great UnCommon Meet & Eat event this month and are especially excited to help introduce Ryzon Refuge to the community.

These events have created so many meaningful connections over the years, and the support between UnCommon Meet & Eat and Kiwanis Myrtle Beach has truly been special. Through that relationship, we’ve welcomed new volunteers, built lasting friendships, and even gained new Kiwanis members who wanted to stay involved in the community.

Join us on Tuesday, June 16 at the Holiday Inn Surfside Beach at Saltaire Coastal Kitchen & Bar on the beachfront. Eventbrite reservations will be opening soon.

We always enjoy spending time with people who care deeply about supporting local organizations and making a difference close to home.

Through the end of July, we’ll be collecting diapers to help support local families through Family Outreach of Horry County.

Right now, there’s a strong need for larger diaper sizes including sizes 5 through 7, along with Pull-Ups. These are everyday essentials that many families are working hard to keep up with, and every donation can make a real difference for someone close to home.

We’d love for the community to help us support families across Horry County during this drive.
