Ebony's Hope

Ebony's Hope Ebony's Hope is committed to Interrupting the cycle of Domestic Violence one Community at a time.

Gwen Reed founded Ebony’s Hope after her sister was shot and killed by her estranged boyfriend in 2013. Police say he went into the bingo hall in Conway, SC, with a shotgun, killing Ebony and himself. Since then, Gwen has worked with state and local officials to help prevent other lives from ending the way her sister's did. Ebony's Hope seeks to educate and bring awareness about domestic violence and to provide resources for survivors in communities across South Carolina.
