Kutztown Community Fire Company A 100% volunteer fire company serving the residents of Jackson Township, Lebanon County and surrounding areas.

This page is here to inform and educate the public and residents of Jackson Township. We have over 30 active members who respond 24/7/365 in any type of weather anytime of day. We run 3 rigs; a
1997 Pierce Saber Suppression Engine 1500/1000/50,
a 2004 American LaFrance Eagle Pumper Tanker 1500/2250, and
a 2000 Ford F350 Brush Truck 300/300. Our brush truck also provides QRS response within the area.

When a fire happens, you may have only minutes to escape.

✅ Create a fire escape plan with everyone in your household.
✅ Identify two ways out of every room when possible.
✅ Choose an outdoor meeting place.

As temperatures drop, heating equipment becomes a major part of keeping our homes comfortable.

✅ Keep anything that can burn at least 3 feet from heating equipment.
✅ Have heating systems inspected annually.
✅ Clean and inspect chimneys and fireplaces.
✅ Never use an oven or grill to heat your home.

Cooking fires are one of the leading causes of home fires.

✅ Never leave cooking unattended.
✅ Keep anything that can burn away from the stove.
✅ Turn pot handles inward.
✅ Keep a lid nearby for small grease fires.
✅ If a fire starts in the oven, turn it off and keep the door closed.

Engine w/4 arrived second due engine picking up Engine 31's hydrant while PT 32 w/2 arrived 4th due engine and staged. Manpower assisted with overhaul and ventilation before being released.
