Good afternoon to our drowsy followers. If the cool rainy day has you needing a caffeine hit, let us help get you prepared for future days just like this!

Our Cubs are heading to Summer Camp in June and are looking to raise some final funds to help pay for their expedition. Summer Camp gives them the opportunity to participate in and try many new things in the great outdoors!

At our last meeting, the Cubs started the design and basic cuts to make their block of wood into something a little more car shaped. Tonight, they arrived with their completed cars ready for some competition.

After 6 races, 1st and 2nd place were tied. 2 tie-breaker races later, we have a winner! Congrats to all of our Cubs on the work that went into all of the cars.

Special shoutout to Jeff at TJ's Guns and Ammo who was able to take a plain block of wood and laser engrave something unique for our Cubs to take home from this evening!

The holidays are quickly approaching and the air is getting colder! That means it’s time for our annual coffee fundraiser thanks to the folks at Cleona Coffee Roasters! This fundraiser is our biggest source of funding for the year, so we need your help to keep our little Cubs on the move!

Have you considered joining Scouting, but still had some questions or wanted to learn a little more? Come join us for a fun evening with a little competition and a chance to speak with current families and leaders of Pack 417.

Our Pack is a family pack, so open to boys and girls in K-5. We cover Schaefferstown, Newmanstown, and the Womelsdorf areas, so we would love to have you join!

Orders and payment are needed by December 5th, with orders being ready the following week. If you have a coffee lover in your family, we’ve got the perfect stocking stuffer!

Hey Schaefferstown and Kleinfeltersville! The scouts from Troop 417 and Pack 417 were around the towns this morning to spread the word for the annual Scouting For Food.

Each year, Scouts across the nation head out in an effort to collect food for their local food banks. If you can spare a few items, we’d love to help support those in need, right here in Lebanon County.

**Please have bags or boxes out by 9:00am next Saturday, November 9th.

If you didn’t get a card, but would like to donate, please message our page and we’ll arrange an alternate pickup/dropoff.

Come visit us this Saturday at Smith’s Candies on Route 422 in Myerstown from 10:00-3:00 (or while supplies last). You can support Scouting in our area and also pop into Smith’s for some delicious candy!

The annual popcorn sale provides a 70% return into local scouting, so this is a great way to support youth in our town.
