Meet the Mean Girls: Gretchen, Karen & Regina 💅🐾

You can’t sit with them… yet.

These three spicy little ladies came to us completely feral and currently have a strict “hiss first, ask questions later” policy. While they’re not quite ready for the Burn Book, they are ready to start learning that humans aren’t so bad after all.

Gretchen is the follower, Karen has absolutely no idea what’s going on, and Regina is convinced she owns the place.

With patience, treats, and a little bribery, we’re confident these girls will trade their street-girl attitudes for couch-girl privileges. Until then, they’re serving looks, throwing shade, and plotting world domination from their kitten condo.

Wish the Mean Girls luck on their journey from feral to fabulous. They will be staying with our trusty cat trainer Kelly Hagen Badgett so she can work her magic on them and will be available soon! Stay tuned! 💕🐾👑

🚨 LEFT EYE IS LOOKING FOR HER THRONE 🚨

Meet Left Eye, a 2½-year-old spayed queen with plenty of personality. When she first came to us she was completely feral and convinced humans were the enemy. We knew she was the perfect fit for our favorite cat trainer! Fast forward to today, and she’s come an incredibly long way.

Now she’ll happily accept pets, attention, and love—as long as you remember that she’s a lady who appreciates a respectful approach. No sudden movements, please. 😹

She’s a little spicy, a little sassy, and definitely not for a first-time cat owner, but for someone cat-savvy who understands that trust is earned, Left Eye is so worth it.

She gets along with other cats, is fully vaccinated and spayed, and is ready to find a home that appreciates her unique charm.

Bonus: she’s now far too busy enjoying snacks and being adored to spend her days plotting world domination.

🎉🐾 THE BIG REVEAL… DEXTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED! 🐾🎉

We know there has been some controversy surrounding Dexter’s adoption, but today we’re excited to share that after his follow-up vet visit yesterday, his dad officially came to pick him up and take him home.

The vet was thrilled with Dexter’s progress and said he is doing amazing!

What makes this story even more special is that Dexter’s new dad, Luis, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident about a year and a half ago and knows firsthand what it means to overcome life-changing challenges. When he first saw Dexter, he hadn’t even read his story yet—he just knew there was something special about him. Once he learned that Dexter was going to lose his leg, he called immediately and said he wanted to give this boy the life he deserved.

And the story gets even better.

Luis’s prosthetic specialist, who made his own prosthetic leg, also works with animals and creates prosthetics for pets. As Dexter grows, he will have access to custom prosthetic legs to help him live his best life and continue doing all the things puppies love to do.

And what a life it will be! ❤️

Dexter has been nothing but a wonderful boy from the moment he came into our care, and his life was worth every bit of saving. Every vet visit, every sleepless night, every dollar spent, and every prayer sent his way led to this moment.

Sometimes the perfect family comes along when you least expect it. We truly believe Dexter and Luis were meant to find each other.

From dumped to safe: Meet Dolly! ❤️

Dolly was roaming the streets of Perry, Florida. A Good Samaritan spotted her and went back the very next day to rescue her and her babies. Tragically, it was too late for some of her litter, but they safely rescued Dolly and her two surviving puppies.We honestly didn’t plan on taking another momma-and-baby case right now. But let’s be real—EIO wouldn’t be EIO without at least two mommas on the property at the same time! 🐶🐶Dolly is an absolute doll! She is a tiny, sweet beagle/hound mix. Just a puppy herself around 2years old. In just 4 weeks, she will officially be looking for her forever home.
