🌭💛 275 MEALS. ONE AMAZING SUNDAY.
We want to give a HUGE thank-you to Slingin' Weenies for coming all the way from Grand Rapids to serve our community last Sunday!
Having a food truck join us for a Table Takeover was something special, and they showed up ready to feed our neighbors. They served 275 meals, the food was a hit, and people were coming back for seconds! ❤️
We’re so grateful they chose to spend their Sunday preparing and serving food for our community. It means a lot when businesses go out of their way to be part of something that brings people together.

🌭❤️ TODAY AT 3 PM — TABLE TAKEOVER!

Today, we get to welcome Slingin' Weenies all the way from Grand Rapids for their very first Table Takeover at The People’s Table!

They’re making the trip to Muskegon because they wanted to be part of something good and help bring our community together. We’re incredibly grateful they reached out, volunteered their time, and chose to spend their Sunday with us.

They’ll be serving up chili cheese dogs, chips, and a drink, and we’d love for you to come out, grab a meal, meet some neighbors, and help us give them a warm welcome!

We’re excited to welcome Slingin' Weenies from Grand Rapids to The People’s Table this Sunday!
They reached out to us because they wanted to help our community, and we’re really grateful they decided to make the trip to Muskegon and spend their Sunday with us. ❤️

This is what we love about our Table Takeovers. It’s not just about the food. It’s about bringing people together, meeting new neighbors, sharing a meal and being part of the community.

🥖 THIS is what The People’s Table is all about. 💛

Last Sunday, Andrew Prater showed up with something a little extra for our neighbors — around 100 small loaves of homemade sourdough bread that he baked from scratch.

And this isn't even the first time Andrew has done this. He’s brought his homemade bread to The People’s Table at least three times now, simply because he loves to bake and he loves sharing what he makes.

Andrew spent the time making the dough, letting it ferment, shaping it, baking it, and then bringing it all down to the Table. He even handed the loaves out himself, getting to meet and talk with the people he was sharing them with.

There wasn't anything complicated about it. He had something he enjoyed making, and he decided to share it with his neighbors.

That's the kind of generosity that makes The People’s Table special.

Nobody here gets paid. Our volunteers show up because they care about this community. They cook, serve, clean, talk, laugh, and sometimes show up with 100 loaves of homemade sourdough. 😂🥖

Andrew, thank you. Not just for the bread, but for continuing to show up and be part of what we're building here.

And honestly… Muskegon has some pretty damn good people. ❤️

Join us Tuesday, September 15 for a special Sunset Cruise benefiting both The People’s Table and the Shoreline Lions Club!

Come enjoy a beautiful evening on the water while helping support two organizations working to make a difference right here in our community.

Sam and Cisily are celebrating their little guy Ru turning ONE, and they're bringing the celebration to The People's Table! 💛

Ru has been part of The People's Table since before he was even born, so celebrating his first birthday with the community that has watched him grow just feels right.

And we're making this Sunday extra fun for the kids!

Sam and Cisily are celebrating their little one, Ru, turning ONE by giving back to the community he has grown up surrounded by.

Ru has been coming to The People’s Table with his family since he was still in his mama’s belly, so they thought there was no better way to celebrate his first birthday than by celebrating with the community that has been part of his life from the very beginning.

They’re taking over The People’s Table this Sunday, and everyone is invited to come enjoy a meal, celebrate Ru, and spend some time with your neighbors!

There will be a piñata and a small bounce house for the kids, so bring the family and come enjoy the afternoon together. 🎈
