Do you want to share your love of πŸ₯ŽπŸ₯Ž and make some πŸ’°πŸ’° while doing it too?

We are looking for umpires for the 2026 Girls’ Softball Seasons to ensure we have enough coverage for all games..

Games are played in the early evening Monday through Thursday. Our seasons starts the week after Spring Break and runs through the second week of October, with a little time off in August.

Games are 1:20 in length and you should have a good general knowledge of the game. Base umpires are paid as training umpires and get $30.00 cash (that’s $20.00 an hour). Become a plate umpire and that increases to $70.00 cash or over $40.00 an hour.

Think about it.... four games a week would take up 6 hours of your time and you could make $280.00! There is even a possibility for double-headers some nights, so you could make more than that.

Moms and dads, what a great idea for you and your teenage daughter or son to do together. You get to select the nights that work for you and pick your schedule so there are no conflicts with vacation, work or other activities.

You must be at least 13 years of age and cannot umpire your peer group.

If you would like more information, please email Dan Vander Myde at [email protected] for more information about umpiring in our program.

Our 2026 umpire training clinic happens on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. Sign ins will begin at 9am and we should be done by 2pm-ish.

Thanks!
