Here is some very good news. I am happy to report First Priority had 5 clubs that started up this past week: 2 lunch clubs at Reeths Puffer High School, 2 lunch clubs at Whitehall High School, and 1 lunch club at Whitehall Middle School – the sixth grade lunch. And the Whitehall Middle School has 3 lunches - including seventh and eighth grades, which means we are praying 2 more clubs get started there this school year. Mrs. Stacy Shepherd is their coach. Pray for her and these students as they bring positive news to their school.
This means we have gone from 2 clubs last year to 5 clubs this year, and we are pursuing more club startups. Rejoicing! If you know students who would like to have a club in their school, help us connect to make it happen.

Student Call to Prayer is Muskegon County's annual recognition of National Day of Prayer. This event is designed for middle and high school students to participate in and/or observe prayer with their peers, and is now one month away.
This year's theme: "Exalt the Lord who has established us", based on Colossians 2:6-7. Student Call to Prayer will be Wednesday, May 4th, the eve' of National Day of Prayer 2022. It will begin at 6:45pm and ends sharply at 8:15pm! Location is Living Word Church, 1551 Wood St, Muskegon, 49442.

This past Sunday, January 16th, I spent 90 minutes with six high school students and their youth pastor.
These three guys and three girls attended First Priority Student Leader Training to understand the EPIC PURPOSE guiding First Priority Clubs. Now they are making plans to start clubs at their high school when their new semester begins.
All for Jesus. -Jim Keck

When we asked one of the sisters how they knew they were dinosaurs, she told us, “They were huge. We knew they certainly weren’t cow bones.”

I returned yesterday from Nashville, TN. I was there for the annual First Priority of America fall conference. It was among our best ever. Pray for our students as they seek staff permission to get their clubs started. I am eagerly awaiting results!

Friends,
This message announces a FIRST PRIORITY Student Leader Training for all middle and high school students, which will be at Evangelical Covenant Church in Whitehall on September 12th at 4 PM. This training is for all interested students. Those who attend will not be required to lead or attend a First Priority club. Students who want to lead will be required to demonstrate faithful church attendance and approval through their youth pastor, pastor or home group. Interested parents, teachers, pastors, missions leaders, business and community leaders are welcome to observe and ask questions.
We are excited to introduce our new 2021 EPIC Strategy and APP to our West Michigan community. Student training time will be no more than 90 minutes. Student Training is essential because it is required that students lead any religious club that meets on a school campus during school hours. Attendees will understand the EPIC Strategy to engage their peers with the "Good News" of Jesus' mission accomplished!
Please share this information in your sphere of influence. Especially with students.

I am seeking 8 volunteers for the Unity Festival's Inflatable Games. Volunteers serve 3.5 hours helping kids enjoy the games and stay safe (must be 15+ years old). If you, or student(s) or adult(s) you know, could benefit from this team experience and/or free admission to Unity Fest, they can sign up at unitymusicfestival.com. The site has "volunteer" information to follow. Choose "Inflatable Games-Jim Keck". Sooner is better to get the choice of shirt size.
You can contact me at 231-206-1990 or [email protected]. Thanks for giving this some thought.
