The quiet bear way.

Over the past month, and in unity with Mr. Kylo Prince of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Mss. Beverly Red Elk - Chips of Wanblee, Pine Ridge, SD, we managed to collect donations for the people of Wanblee. We received donations from Winnipeg, Eagle River, Wisconsin, Muskegon, Michigan, Bloomington, Indiana, Columbus, Ohio, Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Rockford, Illinois.

One trip from Pine Ridge around Lake Michigan... But we are just getting started. I am asking all of you to help me get the word out to the churches and schools to put out donation boxes for Pine Ridge Agency, South Dakota, one of the most impoverished places inside the borders of the United States.

No donation will be turned away, but there are some special items that are in greater demand. Things most of us take for granted. Toilet paper, women's sanitary and hygiene products, spiral note books, nonbreakable plastic place settings, trash bags... Just to name a few. We ask that all donations be new and in their original packages.

I have had the opportunity to live with and get to know some of the people of Wanblee. They are people just like you and me, but they are struggling far more than most.

This, my friends, is the organization that I am a part of and am working to aid in acquiring lease of a former boy scout camp that is a portion of a natural wetland preserve, much larger, but not so different from the one I lived next to in Michigan.

Intertribal group that help out with education and event for the betterment of mankind and nature.
