Letter from the Director-May 2025

May 1, 2025 / Muskego Food Pantry
Look at me! It is 8:23 on May 1st and I am writing my letter. Shirley is gone so I am in early. It is nice and quiet. Our pantry has had record numbers lately. A couple of new families every week and people coming back to use the pantry who have not been here in over 2 years. We are still in pretty good shape for serving our families. Our corporate donations have decreased a little. It looks like a lot of our businesses who donate to us have less to donate. We are expecting the Masons to come by today with 100 bags of Vidalia onions. This is an annual donation and all of our families love them. Please don’t forget us when you are planting your garden this month. The pantry loves receiving fresh produce harvested by community gardens. I have to thank everyone who supports us both monetarily and with non-perishable and perishable foods. We wouldn’t be able to help so many without your support.

Letter from the Director – April 2025

April 3, 2025 / Muskego Food Pantry
Spring is right around the corner. We are gearing up for Easter at the pantry. We are meeting at Bethel Lutheran Church on Sunday to assemble 80 plus Easter baskets for our kids at the pantry. We are hoping to get 40 or so hams from Feeding America. That will help immensely with providing Easter dinner to our families. Our numbers are increasing every Thursday. If it is not a new family, it is a family who has not used the pantry in a couple of years. The new government policies do not affect us, because we get absolutely no food from the government. All of our food comes from donations from the community. As always thanks so much for all of the community’s support. We wouldn’t be the premier pantry that we are without all of your help.
