It's Monday, no one wants to come home from work and cook. Go to Texas Roadhouse in New Berlin instead and support Special Olympics of WI! We'll be there along with New Berlin - WI Police Department, working hard for those tips that all go back to the amazing athletes. See you there! 🥩

Lt. Ciula and Cadet Ganter recreated last year’s photo-op on one of the many motorcycles present at the airport yesterday. Members of the unit assisted in welcoming C.O.P.S. Kids’ Camp participants as they arrived with officers from surrounding jurisdictions!

Although he was unable to attend last night’s awards ceremony at City Hall, we still need to recognize former Unit Sergeant, Ian Rees. Sgt. Rees began his tenure with the unit at the age of 14, and recently aged out in May. Over the past 7 years, Sgt. Rees contributed to the unit’s growth, literally in size, via recruitment, as well as experience and performance, playing an integral role on teams placing at competitions, local and national, too many times to mention. He’s currently pursuing his associate’s degree in order to become a police officer while gaining experience as a CSO for the Wauwatosa Police Department and working private security. While his leadership and dedication will be sorely missed, we wish him well as he enters the next chapter of his career! Thank you, Sgt. Rees!
