Yesterday we celebrated “Syttende Mai” or Norway’s Constitution day with Millie and her family. What a fun event! We enjoyed Millie’s very own orange cream cookies, cherry cobbler and almond bread with berries. The tasty treats were amazing. The best part was hearing of Millie’s heritage and love of Norway. Now all of us want to plan a future trip to visit!

On Friday we celebrated and honored our incredible volunteers at StairCrest. What a beautiful day! At the tea party we enjoyed live music with Bella Musik, we were inspired by an incredible volunteer who talked about his experience sharing God’s love as a volunteer in Milwaukee and had wonderful food including dirt cake with an edible flower. Everyone enjoyed their day and receiving market baskets and bracelets as a memory of the event. Thank you to all our volunteers!
