The Muscotah Cancer Support Group was started in 2012 as a support group & for cancer survivors to send out cards to others still fighting cancer. This was such an important gift to those of us with cancer, we felt it would help in supporting & healing those still fighting the disease. In April 2014 we began to spread our wings, and help patients that were faced with the extra expenses of travelin

g to cancer treatments. This was only made possible by memorial money left to this group by a local woman who bravely fought cancer, she may have lost the fight, but her legacy carries on. With this memorial money, we are able to venture down a new road of helping those diagnosed with cancer. Many years later we continue to fundraise with the help of local volunteers, survivors, & those who have cared for us. We are an established 501(c)3 helping Northeast Kansas Cancer Patients with monetary donations to use as needed during treatment.
