We are headed back to Guatemala September 5th-11th alongside our church to serve with Hands of Hope International. We need your help to GO TELL🔥🔥🔥 Our total budget for this mission trip is $4650. This is great soil! The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. We are stepping out in faith to be obedient to God‘s calling to go. The poverty level, especially in rural settings, is really bad. Jesus is their only Hope!! Hey y’all:

We always give thanks to the Lord for our partnering churches. We are so blessed to know the outreach pastor at Shadow Mountain Community Church in Southern California and thankful for the seeds they sow into what the Lord is doing in the life of our ministry. We hope to get back out that direction in the next year to spend some time with Dr. David Jeremiah and the staff. Please take a moment to read this post pertaining to worship. It is our prayer this will be a blessing and an encouragement for you today!

In a world that continually tells us to hurry, Jesus invites us to rest.

One of the ways we build a rhythm that is not ruled by busyness, pressure, and burdens is by regularly returning to the Lord in worship. Week by week, we gather to remember who He is, surrender what we’ve been carrying, and let our hearts be restored by His presence and His Word.

Worship is not just another thing on the calendar. It is a gift from God that reorients our souls.

Hey y’all:

God’s Word is truth! “Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.”

There is also a big difference in exegesis and eisegesis. They are two conflicting approaches in Bible study. Exegesis is the exposition or explanation of a text based on a careful, objective analysis. The word exegesis literally means “to lead out of.” That means that the interpreter is led to his conclusions by following the text. The opposite approach to Scripture is eisegesis, which is the interpretation of a passage based on a subjective, non-analytical reading. The word eisegesis literally means “to lead into,” which means the interpreter injects his own ideas into the text, making it mean whatever he wants. Exegesis will be expository preaching giving God‘s interpretation and not man’s. Please know and understand the difference!!

Hey y’all:

God is so amazing; when He shows up through our partnering churches, He always shows out. Thank you Lord for sending churches that want to sow seed into what you are doing through the life of our ministry.

A big thank you to all our supporting churches for your generosity from prayer and finances to resources and more that help us further the Kingdom of God, while we travel to meet people where they are and take them where they need to go.

Recently, we received plenty of basic homeless care kits and hundreds of Life books in English and Spanish. We love our supporting churches!! I tell you we are not able to do what we do without God first and then great folks like y’all that come alongside us for His Glory!!
