Hey y’all:

“I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”” Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We have a family that is in dire need of a standard cooktop stove/oven. They have been without one for months, and we would like to see if we can surprise them with something over the next several weeks. It does not have to be anything fancy and no specific measurements, as there are no counters around it. Will you prayerfully help us meet this need? Thank you so much for your continued support of sowing seed into what God is doing through the life of ROM.

Hey y’all:

God did amazing things at Hope for Athens 2026. We are humbled and honored that He brought us back again this year to serve alongside of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church. It was a blessing to see the Lord provide for the needs of the people that He brought throughout the day. Please pray for those that gave their life to Christ and even for those that did not. There were many seeds planted and lots of Jesus conversations. God’s Word does not return void!

Quarterly newsletter update:

Over the past several days, we have been working nonstop to resolve some technical difficulties within our software. We were hoping to have it resolved by now and the newsletter released by 11:59 PM EST tonight. God had different plans!! Unfortunately, that release is not going to happen today! Satan does not want this newsletter made public, but he has lost. It will be released in God’s timing; He always wins. We are working on a temporary solution until we can get a permanent fix and ask that you be patient with us during this process over the next several days. Thanks for your prayers and understanding!

Hey y’all:

October is pastor appreciation month. Matt never intended to be a pastor, let alone ordained as one 10 years ago. But God had different plans…..

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

We thank the Lord for calling him to be an evangelist and gifting him with that. We are also thankful for his obedience to the Lord’s calling. Not a day goes by that Matt will not take time to serve others and share his faith in Christ.

Please take a moment to share words of encouragement, as he continues to meet people where they are and take them where they need to go.

Hey y’all:

Somehow the cat got out of the bag. Many may have seen it or maybe not! Yes, we will be celebrating our 17th year this January in having this ministry. We are also celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in February. Some have asked what would we like to have or do. We rarely take time off, let alone to get away. We would like to go to a beach resort! We never ask anyone to do anything without praying about it. If you will prayerfully consider giving to that, we would be humbly honored. Thanks!!
