REGISTER NOW for the Healing Place Charity Classic Golf Tournament!

💚 The Healing Place Charity Classic Golf Tournament, with its four person scramble format, provides the opportunity for area golfers to support the work of The Healing Place. The Healing Place Charity Classic Golf Tournament takes place in the fall of every year and invites area golfers, community members, and local businesses and organizations to give back to The Healing Place. The tournament provides opportunity to play or to sponsor the event.

💚 The tournament takes place at Cypress Lakes in Muscle Shoals, AL and offers 2 shotgun start times- one at 8am and one at 1pm. Each start time is limited to 18 teams. The registration fee for the tournament includes team registration, players breakfast, players lunch, and 2 mulligans. The registration fee is $500 per team ($125 per person).

💚 The Healing Place Charity Classic Golf Tournament also provides the opportunity for local businesses and organizations to sponsor the event. By sponsoring the event your business/organization will be featured on all Healing Place social media, the website, and on signage at the event. We would love to have you/your business participate in this event to benefit families all across the Shoals and surrounding areas.

💙 We are so excited to see everyone THURSDAY (August 27th) for a Grief Support Group!

💙 Group will begin at 5:30 with dinner!

💙 At 6pm we will separate into our four age groups: littles, middles, teens, and adults.

💙 Group will end at 7pm! Please be ready for pick-up at 7.

💙 We would love to have any children and families in need of grief support join us!

Several times a year THP receives phone calls requesting support services for grief related to Divorce.

While we do not see clients outside of grief related to death-there are support groups available in our community ❤️‍🩹

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of one of the founding members and board members of The Healing Place, Sharon Scogin.

Sharon co-created The Healing Place in 2001 and paved the way for thousands of children and families to have access to grief support and education as a result. Through innovation, compassion, and fearless leadership Sharon began a legacy that follows her still.

She is remembered today for that kindness, compassion, care, and steadfast determination in which we, and so many others, will forever admire her for.

⭐️Camper Share!⭐️

Camp Erin Northwest Alabama served over 45 grieving children and teens last month. We are proud to have the opportunity to have such a positive impact on so many children through this experience.

🫶🏻Healing Hearts In School is officially back for the 2026-2027 school year! ! 🫶🏻

💗To celebrate Healing Hearts we are highlighting some member letters written in previous years. These letters were written by existing Healing Hearts members to be given to new Healing Hearts members beginning the program this year.

💗The Healing Hearts In School Program serves over 50 schools in Lauderdale, Colbert, and Franklin counties. We serve over 500 students in these schools.
