The Birthday Fairy is a way to bless the children of the Shoals community on their special day! So many children in our area come from families that work SO hard and do everything they can to provide food on the table, clothes to wear and a place to live. But sometimes that means other luxuries, such as expenses associated with having a birthday party, have to be put aside. Our goal is to acknowle
dge the birthdays of children in Shoals area schools that may not normally get celebrated, by sprinkling love, joy and a whole lot of smiles! On the morning of the child's birthday, they arrive to school to find a personalized chair cover at their desk, a brand new backpack filled with goodies such as books, coloring pads and markers, a birthday sash for the girls and a birthday pin for the boys, as well as yummy cupcakes and candles to take home and celebrate with their family!
