Muscatine County 4-H Muscatine County 4-H is a youth program for K-12th grade youth in Muscatine County.

Community Impact Interns bring Iowa 4-H programming directly to local communities, helping counties reach more youth through hands-on STEM and agriculture experiences while introducing young people and families to the broader opportunities available through 4-H. We will be filling two positions.

📸✨ NEW CLUB ALERT! INTRODUCING THROUGH THE LENS! ✨📸

Say CHEESE, Muscatine County 4-H! We have something exciting to share! 🎉

We're launching a NEW photography SPIN club — Through the Lens! 📷

Whether your 4-Her loves snapping photos on their phone, experimenting with a camera, or capturing the world around them, this club is a great opportunity to get creative, learn new photography skills, and have fun!

We're especially excited to welcome Kathryn Manjoine as our club leader! Kathryn is a former Muscatine County 4-Her and the current owner of Kathryn Jennie Photography. We love seeing former 4-H members give back, and we can't wait to see what this club has in store! ❤️💚

📅 WHEN: 4th Sunday of each month, starting October 25th
⏰ TIME: 5:00–6:00 PM
📍 WHERE: Muscatine County Extension Office
💲 COST: FREE for current 4-H members! Not a current 4-H member? Contact Cassi Chapman at [email protected] for more information.

🎬💚 That's a Wrap on National 4-H Week! 💚🎬

What a week it's been! Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate 4-H across Muscatine County! 🍀

Here's a look back at the fun:
🪨 Rock hunt: Congratulations to everyone who found a rock in Muscatine, Wilton, West Liberty and Durant!
📸 Guess That 4-Her: We loved seeing your guesses on our throwback photos!
🙌 Volunteer spotlights: A huge thank you to our amazing leaders for everything they do for our youth.
💚 Green bridge and Wear Green Day: Thank you for showing your 4-H spirit!
🖍️ Clover Kids coloring contest: Winners will be posted at the end of the month, when all clubs have had a chance to meet and get their coloring sheets.

4-H Week may be over, but the fun is just getting started! Watch for upcoming events and workshops, and remember to enroll on 4-H Online if you haven't yet.

💚🍀 Volunteer Spotlight: Why I Volunteer for 4-H 🍀💚

This 4-H Week, we're celebrating the volunteers who make 4-H possible! Meet Adriane Sedlacek from the Waspie 4-H Club.

💬 "I volunteered to be a 4-H leader because 4-H was such a big part of my childhood and helped shape who I am today. I want to bring back some of those traditions, get more kids involved, and do my part to keep 4-H from fading away. It’s so much more than projects, it teaches kids confidence, responsibility, leadership, and gives them memories that last a lifetime."
