Louisa County students - the scholarship application period has just opened. Don’t miss out!

Muscatine and Louisa County high school seniors may now apply for over $850,000 in local scholarships! High school scholarship applications are being accepted through March 7, 2025.

Over 200 scholarships are awarded in varying amounts, from $200 one-time awards up to $20,000 four-year awards. Scholarships are also available for a variety of post-secondary options including bachelor's or associate degrees, certificate programs, and trade training.

The Muscatine Community College scholarship application is also open now through March 31, 2025, on the Community Foundation's scholarship application portal.

Over $100,000 in grant funds are available to support charitable organizations actively working to improve quality of life in Louisa County.

Applications open: September 1, 2024
Applications close: September 30, 2024 at noon

Applicants will be notified and grants awarded in November 2024.

Community Foundation of Louisa County welcome Maribel Kral and Allie Todd to the Affiliate Board of Directors. Maribel and family live in Wapello. Maribel teaches Spanish for the Mediapolis School System. Allie and her husband live in Columbus Junction and own Bard Station Coffee Shop. We’re excited to have you both serving on the Board!

This is a part-time contract position for an estimated 30-40 hours per month. Stipend commensurate with experience.
