Make your mask. Enjoy a drink. Get ready for the Ball.

Our Mask Making Night is coming up on Tuesday, September 15 at 6:00 PM at The Maynard, and we’re inviting you to join us for a chance to get creative and start planning your masquerade look.

We’ll provide everything you need to create your own one-of-a-kind masquerade mask, plus each guest will receive a drink ticket to enjoy while you work.

We're excited to share the after photos from this Aging in Place project.

We're incredibly grateful for our Construction Committee members, Habitat volunteers and the team from Gerdau- Wilton Mill. We couldn't have done it without them!

It’s a beautiful day to make a difference! Our amazing volunteers are out today working on an Aging in Place project.

A huge thank you to our dedicated Habitat volunteers and Gerdau employees for giving their time to help transform this yard and make this home safer and more accessible for the homeowner.

Please join us in welcoming Kent Heckman to our construction committee!

Recently retired from Kent Nutrition, Kent brings a lifetime of hands-on construction experience. His passion for building began at just 13 years old when he helped construct an addition to his family's home. Since then, he has gained experience in rough carpentry, roofing, electrical work, finish carpentry, and has completed two basement renovations of his own, along with numerous home improvement projects for others.

While at Kent Nutrition, he volunteered on several Habitat home builds and accessibility ramp projects, making him a valuable addition to our team.

Raised on a family farm in Atalissa, he now lives in Muscatine with his wife, Mary. Together they have two adult children.

Our committees are still growing, and we're grateful for community members like Kent who are helping us further our mission. If you're interested in getting involved, we'd love to hear from you!
