Notice of Availability of Statement of Activity

To all interested agencies, groups, and persons:

Rebuilding Together Muscatine County intends to submit a pre-application to the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, for a Housing Preservation Grant (Section 533) for FY2024. Rebuilding Together Muscatine County seeks this grant to provide housing rehabilitation grants to 10 very low and low-income homeowners. The rehabilitation grants will make critical repairs to ensure the safe and healthy occupancy and preservation for their homes in the eligible areas of Muscatine County.

A proposed Statement of Activities will be available for public review and comment at the Rebuilding Together Muscatine County office located at 1424 B Houser St, Muscatine Iowa, 52761 from Jul 21 to Jul 28, 2024 during office hours 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Comments on the proposed Statement of Activities are to be submitted in writing to Alan Millage, Executive Director, at Rebuilding Together Muscatine County at 1424B Houser St, Muscatine Iowa, 52761 or via email at [email protected]. Comments will be accepted through Jul 28, 2024.

Rebuilding Together Muscatine County is applying for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s new Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) Program. This program will support communities in their efforts to maintain, protect and stabilize manufactured housing and manufactured housing communities.
As a part of our application, we will be accepting public commentary. Individuals can provide public comments online, in person or by mail:
