đź‘‚ Sometimes you just have to stop and listen.

Big Joe keeps today's message simple.

In recovery, we're often busy talking, planning, worrying, and trying to figure everything out.

But sometimes the greatest strength comes from being still.

Listen.
Listen to God.
Listen to wisdom.
Listen to the people trying to help you.

The answers you're looking for may already be there.

Recovery World:
Slow down.
Take a breath.
Just listen.

Stay surrendered.
You will stay strong.
You will stay sober.

⛪ Step #10: Find a Home Church and Get Involved.

Big Joe shares the final step in The YOU Workbook: Pathway to Freedom:

👉 Find a home church and become a functioning part of the Body of Christ.

You've made it through the workbook. You've done the work. You've taken the steps.

Now what?

Now it's time to find your people.

Recovery was never meant to be lived alone. Long-term freedom happens when you're connected to a community of believers who encourage you, challenge you, and walk alongside you.

đź’¬ "Iron sharpens iron."

It may take a few tries to find the right church. That's okay.

Ask God:
"Where do You want me to be? How do You want me to use the gifts You've given me?"

Because your recovery journey doesn't end after 10 weeks.

It's a lifelong walk of freedom, faith, and purpose.

Recovery World:
Get involved.
Stay connected.
Keep growing.

Stay surrendered.
You will stay strong.
You will stay sober.

🌅 What are you hoping for today?

Big Joe reminds us that every new day begins with a choice.

What are you expecting today?
What are you praying for?
What are you believing God for?

Maybe today your hope is simple:
To stay clean.
To stay sober.
To find peace.
To just make it through the day.

But God wants even more for you — freedom, strength, joy, and endurance for whatever comes next. 🙏

His Word says:
“Early in the morning I will rise up and seek Thee.”

Before the noise.
Before the stress.
Before the distractions.

Start with Jesus.

The sun comes up every single day — and Big Joe reminds us:
You are even more valuable than the sun in the eyes of God.

Recovery World:
Don’t give up. Just give in.
Ask God to show you the way today.

Stay surrendered.
You will stay strong.
You will stay sober.

⚠️ Step #8: Be cautious — backsliding can happen.

Big Joe shares Step #8 from The YOU Workbook: Pathway to Freedom:

👉 Be cautious. Am I going back to the old ways?

Recovery is a lifelong road.
And sometimes people stumble.

That doesn’t make you a failure.
It makes you human.

The important thing is learning:
• What patterns pull you away from recovery
• What people, places, and things trigger you
• Whether you reach out for help when you’re weak
• If you’re becoming overconfident and disconnected

💬 “Consistency is one of the number one things in recovery.”

One thought at a time.
One breath at a time.
One day at a time.

And if you backslide?
Pick yourself up. Dust yourself off.
You are NOT starting over.

Recovery World:
There is no condemnation in Christ.
Use the tools.
Stay cautious.
Stay surrendered.

You will stay strong.
You will stay sober.

🌉 Step #7: Building a Bridge.

Big Joe shares Step #7 from The YOU Workbook: Pathway to Freedom:

👉 Ask forgiveness from those you’ve wronged.

This step is about more than saying “sorry.”
It’s about true forgiveness, accountability, and rebuilding trust.

In recovery, many of us have burned bridges — especially with the people closest to us.
And trust?
đź’¬ Trust is earned. It is not given.

Building a bridge takes time:
• One step at a time
• One conversation at a time
• One act of consistency at a time

Some people may not be ready right away.
Some may choose not to forgive.
But your responsibility is to keep building — patiently, honestly, and humbly.

Recovery World:
Do you want things the way they used to be…
or do you want them to be better?

Stay surrendered.
Stay strong.
Stay sober.
