What a weekend for the memory books! We can’t thank you all enough for being a part of our team this weekend and over the past 11 years.

If you were at the ice cream social, you already know, but it is with a heart full of thankfulness and gratitude that we are announcing that this will be our last team event.

With everything becoming increasingly difficult and expensive we cannot continue the team without increasing fees significantly in order to hire someone to help us. Our business model has always been to keep our fundraising minimums to a reasonable amount and to create a family of runners that came back event after event. AND WE DID THAT FOR ELEVEN YEARS!! We’ve raised somewhere in the ballpark of a million dollars over the years and couldn’t have done this without you all.

We have no regrets. This has been the most incredibly blessed journey, and one that we never expected to experience!!!

Thanks for the amazing ride! And thanks for the memories.

You’ll be in our hearts forever!!

Hey Team!!

Marathoners and D***y runners, we will be cheering at the Boardwalk tomorrow morning until 11am (when we unfortunately have to leave for the airport). It will be about mile 24.5.

Hey team! Just a reminder that tomorrow, Saturday, at 1 PM we will be casually meeting at Ghirardelli to share some ice cream. If you have time or you’re in the area, Lonna and I would love to treat each one of our runners from this weekends races to an ice cream on us! Just our way of saying thank you.

Good night everyone! For those of you running the 5K, remember there is a 5 AM start time. Don’t wait too late to get into your corrals because they close the corrals pretty early.

We opted to not do a team photo this year because we have to check in with athletes with disabilities very very early, 345 tomorrow morning. I hope to see some of you around the start once Dan and Parker head to the AWD start.
