Please sign the petition below so that Krabbe disease will be considered by a Federal committee to be recommended as a standard newborn screening for all newborns born in the United States. Give the next baby born with Krabbe disease a chance at detection and a chance for treatment that Trevor never had. This disease is horrendous and no child or family should suffer the way Trevor, Nicole, Tyler and I have. Steve and Trevor

Trevi this morning. Breathing 4 times a minute and compromised brain stem and cerebral atrophy. He does not seem bothered by the science. Proud of this kid! My hero.

It is with great sadness that I share the loss of another beautiful and precious young baby girl who lost her battle with Krabbe disease yesterday on Easter morning. Trevor, Tyler and I had the great privilege of meeting Tori and her amazing and faithful parents Brennan and Lesa Brackbill last summer at the Hunters Hope Symposium. Please keep the Brackbill family in your prayers at this unimaginable time.

All babies in Kentucky now being tested for Krabbe, MPS 1 and Pompe diseases. Thanks Sarai Phelps Taylor, Nathan Taylor and Baby Anna!

We received confirmation today, on the one year anniversary of the Anna Claire Taylor Law passing, that EVERY newborn in KY is being screened at birth for Krabbe Disease! Kentucky is only the third state in the U.S. to do so. Because of Anna's Law, KY is also additionally screening for two other similar disorders, Pompe and MPS-1! The statewide screening officially began February 15, 2016. Anna is saving lives!
It is so heartbreakingly beautiful, though we already know he is unaffected, that Anna's baby brother will be screened for Krabbe at birth, because of her. This is one of our favorite photos of Anna before she was diagnosed. That contagious smile seemed appropriate for this news! We miss our sweet girl so much, but can't help but be thankful for her legacy to continue in KY. ❤️💔
