Came home to a wonderful surprise! I want to thank the special elf who brought 4 blankets and 17 gift bags to my house today. As a community we were able to give blankets and hats to 17 children in foster care, in our county, for Christmas! Go Links Brook!

As may of you know I am bringing blankets and hats to children in foster care as Christmas gifts. I am putting out a call to action! I am in need of 4 more blankets for boys ages 7, 8, 15, and 16! I need to deliver these early next week at the latest to get them to the kids in time! None of the blankets I have are big enough/ apropriate colors/patterns. I do have a large navy fleece blanket that could be crocheted if anyone would like to use that.

I could also use up to 17 large holiday appropriate gift bags (to hold a blanket + hat) if you have any extras!

Our group has been amazing this year! By next week we will have donated:
131 hats & 18 blankets to Waccamaw Hospital NBICU
7 blankets to a nursing home (TBD- open to suggestions!)
46 hats & 22 blankets to children in foster care in Georgetown County. (plus the 4 more if we can get them!)
