Kentucky, we need your help improving accessible parking across our state! ♿

Accessible parking violations create real barriers for people with disabilities. To strengthen advocacy efforts, we need more information about where and how often these violations are happening throughout Kentucky.

The Parking Mobility App allows you to document accessible parking violations and helps build valuable data that can be used to support accessibility advocacy in our communities.

See an accessible parking violation? Document it through the app and help us build a clearer picture of accessible parking issues across Kentucky. 📱

Accessibility starts with the basics, and alt text is one of the easiest places to begin.

Alt text is the written description that appears behind an image and is read aloud by screen readers for people who are blind or have low vision. A good example describes what matters. Not "image1234.jpg," but something like "a young girl using a wheelchair at a birthday party." Skipping it means part of your audience misses the picture entirely.

Follow along for more accessibility tips we use in our own work.

CAL is now an approved HCB Waiver provider, launching first in select counties across western and southern Kentucky, with plans to expand statewide.

Our case management team helps older adults and people with physical disabilities access home and community-based support instead of moving into a nursing facility. That includes personal care assistance, home-delivered meals, respite care, and person-centered planning built around each participant's goals.

If you work with someone who might qualify or want the full list of counties currently served, visit calky.org/hcb-waiver-services.
