We are thrilled for our 2026 Chamber Board Chair, Shannon Waltmon, and his family as they welcome home their daughter, Abigail, following her deployment aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln.

Abigail, thank you for your service and sacrifice! Our Chamber family is proud of you and grateful to celebrate this sweet reunion with your family. Welcome home! 🇺🇸

We are so happy to help our Agency Manager, Shannon Waltmon and his family welcome home their daughter & sister, Abigail Waltmon from service onboard the USS Abraham Lincoln that returned home to San Diego Bay on Oct. 8. 🇺🇸 The ship departed on Nov. 21, 2025 and completed a record-setting deployment of 321 days supporting Operation Epic Fury. Welcome home Abigail Waltmon and thank you for your service!
We are incredibly proud of your commitment. 🇺🇸

We had a WILD time welcoming Belle Brook Animal Encounter to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting during their grand opening last Saturday. Located at 220 Rocky Lane, Farmington, the experience offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get up close with some pretty incredible animals, including capybaras, wallabies, mountain coatis, kinkajous, and tortoises. 🦫🦘🐒🐢

Whether you’re an animal lover, looking for a unique family fun, or just curious about these fascinating creatures, Belle Brook offers a chance to make some unforgettable memories.

We were delighted to celebrate the grand opening of the Calloway County Public Library’s permanent StoryWalk®! 📚🌿

Located in the library’s back garden, this wonderful new addition combines reading, movement and outdoor family fun. The project was made possible through Beyond the Bricks donations honoring beloved former library director Margaret Trevathan, along with support from Robert Hasz, John Lane and Four Seasons.

Congratulations to the library team on creating another special resource for our community!

Our Chamber team had a great few days at the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives Annual Conference in Hopkinsville — the closest KCCE conference to home yet!

We were especially proud to be recognized by the Kentucky Chamber for our West Kentucky Thank You Night, an annual event hosted in Frankfort through a partnership among chambers across our region. West Kentucky truly has a unique collaborative spirit, and we’re proud to work alongside chamber leaders who understand that our communities are stronger when we work together.

A special thank you to Amy Cloud and the Hopkinsville-Christian County Chamber team for being wonderful hosts!

The conference also marked the end of our Chamber President & CEO Michelle Bundren’s term on the KCCE Board. We’re grateful for her service to Kentucky’s chamber profession and excited that she will continue representing Murray and Calloway County at the state level as she begins a two-year term on the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
