Our first greenhouse harvest is here!

Last week, day program participants harvested our first round of produce for donation to our friends at Covenant House New Jersey!

The Our (Green)House Program provides opportunities for our served individuals to gain hands-on experience growing fresh fruits and vegetables while making a difference in their community.

We are proud to celebrate this exciting milestone and the hard work that made it possible!

Recently, participants from VAP Livingston put their creativity and kindness to work by creating heartfelt, handmade thank-you cards and gifts for veterans at the VA. ❤️

Special Thanks to Assistant Director of Day Services Moe Pender and the entire VAP Livingston team for their dedication and hard work on this project. Your efforts helped spread appreciation and brighten the day of those who have served our country.

☀️ Summer fun is in full swing! This week, participants from our New Providence and Livingston Day Programs beat the heat with a fun cookout and exciting water activities.

Everyone had a fantastic time eating delicious grilled treats and making memories together!

This week was National CPR & AED Awareness Week!

Did you know that every Our House facility is equipped with at least one Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and every Our House employee is certified in CPR and AED use?

The safety and well-being of the people we serve is always a top priority. We are committed to being prepared to respond in an emergency. Not just this week, but every week of the year.

We are grateful to the funders and donors who have helped make this lifesaving initiative possible, including The John Taylor Babbitt Foundation, Catholic Human Services, Christ Church Summit NJ, Jack and Cynthia Mathis, and many others.
