First Somerset Clover meeting of the year!! Tomorrow night (Tuesday, November 5th) at 6 PM at the extension office. Meeting in the basement due to voting upstairs. Snacks provided. If you’re interested in a leadership position this year (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer), be sure to speak up at the meeting.

Hello Clovers:
Our meeting will be short tonight. We don't have an activity or program scheduled. Jennie is not able to make it tonight and some members have other obligations. We will have a business meeting and discuss some things, have snack and a social time. If someone wants to plan an activity, that would be great.

Last night we had an amazing presentation from special guests. Chibueze “Chi” Iguegbe is a grad student from Nigeria and we learned so much about his country. “AJ”
Adu Poku Adjoa cooked Jollof Rice with chicken and beef. The cooking took longer than we expected so we had to freeze the meal and will eat it at our next meeting. Jennie and I stayed late and got a little sample and it was delicious. The whole room smelled amazing!

Good morning! Just a reminder that we have a 4H meeting tonight beginning at 6 PM we will have our business meeting and a presentation from an SIU graduate student from Nigeria and we will be making a rice dish. Paxton is signed up to bring snacks and Kylin is signed up for talk/demo. See you tonight!

Last night, members of the Somerset Clovers and Carbondale Clovers made about 100 Valentines for residents of Assisted Living with the help of Jean Conrod from Jackson County Home and Community Education Association.
