We love to watch Eagles soar. We’re very proud of Qwentin’s accomplishments! Proud, but knowing him, we’re not shocked he was selected to be Squad Leader and a Honor Graduate. Keep impressing us, Spc. McBride.

Monday night was our Troops December Court of Honor where advancements and awards were presented to the Scouts and Scouters. Last night we had our Arrow of Light campout and invited an AOL from Pack 112. It was a little chilly, but we made it. The fireplace was a very popular spot. We had a great time Vinny and looking forward to your Crossover!

Scouting for Food, blue bags are out all over town. We’ll be back next week to pick them up, 10am-noon. Please place your bags where they can be easily seen from the street. If you didn’t get a bag and want to donate, you can use any bag or blue bags will be available at the Murphysboro Food Panty.

Scouting for Food - Scouts will be out this Saturday morning, November 15th. We will be back next Saturday morning, November 22nd, to pick them up. Last year we collected nearly 5,500 food items and donated them to the Murphysboro Food Pantry.

A few pics of last week’s camp at Lake Murphysboro. We had a couple complete cooking requirements for rank advancement. We then hiked and cleared the nature trail of downed trees and tree limbs. We also defended our encampment from a 1:00am attack from a gang of trash digging raccoons.
