The Big Muddy Monster Walk/Run-O-Meter shows that over 60 participants have signed up for the June 20th Big Muddy Monster 5k Walk/Run in downtown Murphysboro, IL. That’s a great start to our goal of over 100 participants. Pre-registration by June 10th to guarantee a t-shirt! Help us celebrate General John A. Logan’s 200th Birthday! 🇺🇸

The General John A. Logan Museum has planned a full weekend of events June 5 through June 7, and we would love to see our community show up in a BIG way!

📍 Grand Celebration Parade
📅 Saturday, June 6
⏰ 1:00 PM
📌 Parade route begins at 21st & Walnut and continues down Walnut Street to 11th Street

Bring your family, set up your chairs along Walnut Street, and help us line the parade route to celebrate this special milestone in Murphysboro history!

After the parade, head back to the General John A. Logan Museum for live music, history demonstrations, food, and more.
