This month in Peru: a Water Committee earns official government recognition, an aquifer passes its 72-hour test, and the road to construction gets shorter. This project update covers a historic JASS recognition in Las Mercedes KM11, a successful 72-hour aquifer pump test in Las Mercedes, ongoing land-rights advocacy in La Merced, and early data collection in Totoral Bajo — four communities moving closer to sustainable clean water.

What a night. ✨

From meaningful conversations and inspiring stories to laughter, music, dancing, great food, and incredible generosity — the Wellspring Gala was a celebration of what’s possible when a community comes together around a mission bigger than itself.

Because of YOU, we achieved the largest single-night fundraising impact in VAVV history, raising over $93,500 for clean water. 💧
