There are sponsors, and then there are partners who make the mission possible; Allcare is the latter. 2026 marks the fourth year in a row that Allcare has funded Bunks Across America right here in Josephine County.

Our chapter president, Nathan Olsen, said it best at our BAA build: "To have Allcare approve our grant for the fourth year in a row…" — and that's where the words gave way to tears. As a chapter, we work all year to secure funding for our public build day, and having Allcare step up year after year lets us stay focused on the mission instead of the fundraising. That kind of support doesn't just help; it humbles us beyond words. 💛

Allcare doesn't just make it possible to build 50 beds in one day with our community. They make it possible to deliver 150 beds a year, helping us accomplish our mission: ensuring every child in our town has a bed they can call their own, every night. 🛌

As a chapter, we've now provided 1.1 million nights of sleep to kids in our town. None of that happens without partners like Allcare.🌟

There are people who make Bunks Across America (BAA) possible, and there are people who make it feel like home. Casa Amiga is both.

If you've been to a BAA build, you know that by noon, volunteers and coaches are running on sawdust and adrenaline, and that's exactly when Casa Amiga shows up to save the day. 🌟

This isn't a one-time favor, Casa Amiga has been feeding our crews since 2018, making BAA 2026 our 8th year fueled by their incredible food.🌮

Jose and his team don't just hand out plates, they bring the warmth. Every "tacos or bowl?" comes with a genuine thank-you to each and every volunteer and coach for showing up for the kids in our community. 💛

Casa Amiga isn't just an SHP friend, they're family. We ❤️ you and everything you do for this community and for SHP Josephine County.

What does sponsorship mean? It means they provided the funding for all of the wood, all of the new mattresses and all of the new bedding for FIFTY new beds that will soon be in the homes of children in our county!
AND their folks showed up to BUILD with us 💪

What an incredible Bunks Across America 2026 build day here in Josephine County! 🌟

Our community SHOWED UP in the biggest way. With over 70 amazing volunteers across the weekend, we built 51 beds — and our rockstar coaches added the finishing touches to 11 beds on Sunday to make sure every single one was perfect for the kiddos receiving them.🛏💛

What surprised so many first‑time builders was learning that every single piece of every bed is made by hand, right here in Josephine County. 🔨
One new volunteer said it best: “I’m glad we can provide not just a bed, but a great bed to kids in our community.” 💛

🌟To every person who cut, sanded, drilled, carried, stained, smiled, encouraged, and showed up with heart — THANK YOU.

You didn’t just build beds… you built hope, comfort, and a better night’s sleep for children in our town. 💛

11 more kiddos woke up in their new beds this morning courtesy of our hard working volunteers and community support. As you can see, we had lots of help assembling the beds and even some from an unexpected little helper 🥰
