Early voting continues through Saturday in Cherokee County ahead of Tuesday's primary election.

Early voting hours & location: Friday until 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cherokee County Board of Elections, 40 Peachtree St. in downtown Murphy.

Election Day is Tuesday, March 3. Voters choosing to vote on Election Day must vote at their assigned precinct. Polls are open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. To see a list of voting precincts, visit cherokeescout.com/local-newsletter/where-vote

Important reminder: Unaffiliated voters are eligible to participate in either party's primary during early voting and on Election Day.
