Saturday morning coffee at Crafted Dough was a great way to kick off the weekend!

We had a small group, but it was a fun group. There was plenty of good conversation, lots of laughs, and of course some great coffee and treats.

One of the best things about Rotary is the friendships we build, and mornings like this give us a chance to slow down, catch up, and enjoy spending time together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We always enjoy these fellowship opportunities and look forward to the next one!

The perfect end to a great day!

This evening, several of our Rotarians joined REACH for the Elder Abuse Awareness Walk. It was wonderful to see our community come together to raise awareness and show support for our seniors.

Elder abuse is often hidden, but events like this help shine a light on an important issue and remind us all to look out for and care for one another.

Thank you to REACH for hosting this meaningful event and for all you do for our community. We were honored to be a part of it.

A day filled with history, fellowship, service, and community—what Rotary is all about!

What could be better than starting the day at Rare Bird Emporium with this great group of Rotarians? ☕️

(Suzi Perkins was with us too, but she had to leave before we got the pictures!)

We had a fantastic meeting filled with great conversation, fellowship, and plenty of excitement about what's ahead. There are some big things coming, and we can't wait to share them with all of you soon.

One of the best parts of Rotary is the friendships we build and the opportunity to come together to make a difference in our community. Today was a wonderful reminder of that.

Stay tuned... exciting things are on the horizon!

What a great day with Rotary!

Today we had the opportunity to visit the Cherokee County Historical Museum and learn more about the history of our county. A big thank you to Billy Ray Palmer for sharing his knowledge and so many interesting stories with us. It is always amazing to learn more about the people, places, and events that helped make Cherokee County what it is today.

A special thank you as well to Teresa Carringer and Trevis Hicks for helping get everything set up and making today's visit happen. We appreciate all the work that went into putting this together.

After the tour, we headed over to the Pavilion by the Rock Gym for lunch and fellowship. There is just something special about spending time together, sharing a meal, catching up, and enjoying the friendships that Rotary brings.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today. It was a wonderful afternoon of learning, fellowship, and celebrating the community we are proud to call home.

June 14 in Rotary History

On June 14, Rotarians around the world often recognize the importance of fellowship, service, and patriotism as the date frequently falls alongside celebrations of Flag Day in the United States. Many Rotary clubs use this time to honor veterans, support community flag programs, and reflect on the freedoms that allow service organizations like Rotary International to thrive.

Rotary has a long tradition of supporting communities through service, leadership, and unity — reminding us that when people come together with a heart to serve, amazing things can happen. 💙🇺🇸💛

June 13 in Rotary History

On June 13, 1910, the very first Rotary International convention officially opened in Chicago. Around 60 Rotarians gathered together to celebrate the growth of Rotary and discuss the future of service above self.

What started as a small gathering helped lay the foundation for Rotary becoming a worldwide organization dedicated to service, fellowship, and making a difference in communities across the globe.
